If you would like to remove or turn on the push notifications, tap the gear button on the upper right corner to reach the Settings. Then tap the second gear button to bring up another Settings page. Tap the Notifications button to make the green check mark appear if you want them turned on, or make the green check mark disappear if you prefer them turned off.
