Some items, such as eyeballs, headbands, eyeshadow, and seashells, are much rarer than others. This means characters will not always drop them when performing actions, but if you keep trying they will.

With rare items, it can take several days--or weeks--to save up the full amount, depending on how challenging it is to unlock characters and character skins.
