The objective of Solitaire Showtime is to complete Levels in order to progress through the game.  In order to complete each Level, the tableau must be cleared by matching the card at the bottom of the display with one of a numerical value one higher or lower than its own.  Once all Cards have been removed, the Level is won.

Stars and additional bonuses during play can be earned by completing Combos.  This is done by matching Cards in succession and filling the Combo Meter at the top of the display.
