Aside from the regular suited Cards, a number of Special Cards can also be found on the Tableau during play.  These have different effects that require a degree of strategy to effectively use:
  • Wildcard - similar to the Booster version, this card can be played on top of any other Card, and can have any card played on top of it.
  • Red Wildcard - similar to the Wildcard, but can only be played in conjunction with red suited Cards.
  • Black Wildcard - similar to the Wildcard, but can only be played in conjunction with black suited Cards.
  • Arrows - when revealed, these let-loose and remove all face-up Cards of the corresponding suit.
  • Bomb - when revealed, the Bomb will clear any face-up Cards in close proximity to it.
  • Connected Card - a velvet rope joins two Cards together; when the Card on one end is played, the Card on the other end is played immediately after.  Cards that appear under the Velvet Rope cannot be played.
  • Gold - when revealed, this will add bonus Coins to your rewards for the Level.
  • Ice - Cards frozen in Ice cannot be played until they are broken free.  This can take one or two strikes, depending on the thickness of the Ice.
  • Hammer - when revealed, this will strike a Card frozen in Ice to break it free.  The number displayed indicates the number of strikes.
  • Curtain - a Card of a colour corresponding with the colour of the Curtain must be played from the bottom of the display to remove it.
  • Suitcurtain - similar to the Curtain, but can only be removed by a Card of the corresponding suit.
  • Double-Curtain - similar to the Curtain. but can only be removed by one card of each colour.
  • Wand - when revealed, this will remove three random face-up regular Cards from the Tableau.
  • Rope - this Card can only be played when the ropes are removed.  This is done by playing any matchable card from the bottom of the display on it.  A Card may have one or two Ropes around it.
  • Swap - the Card has two values displayed, which alternate with every move made.
  • Wind - when revealed, this will clear away any Clouds obscuring the Tableau.
  • Dice - when revealed, the Die will roll to reveal its effect: adding or removing Cards in the Reserve, or awarding bonus Coins.
  • Add - adds a number of Cards to the Reserve, equal to the displayed number.
  • Colour - can only be played in conjunction with other Cards of the same colour.
  • Seed Card - when revealed, this will release up to five Seeds, causing Cards to become Overgrown.
  • Overgrown Card - after the Vase Card has been revealed, the overgrowth must be removed by playing a matchable card from the bottom of the display on it. The Card can then be played as normal.
  • Vase Card - when revealed, this collects the flowers from the cleared Overgrown cards. When these have all been collected, as indicated by the number on the Vase, this Card is removed.
