Lives are required to begin playing a level. You will have a maximum stock of five Lives. If you fail to clear a level, it will reduce your totals by one life. Succesfully clearing a level will not use a life. Lives will replenish over time on their own, with one life replenishing every thirty minutes up to a maximum of five lives. Refills may be purchased for Coins, or, if you have Free Lives in your Lives Bank you can replenish your supply with those.

You can also earn lives from the Level Chest, Star Chest, and for completing Magic Item sets.
