Occasionally, rewards or messages are sent to you via in game message. When you receive an in game message there will be a flashing light indicating that a new message has arrived in your mailbox. Click on the envelope on the bottom right in your home screen in order to open your mailbox and see what's new. From here, rewards can be claimed and the totals of your resources will update instantly.
