You're still able to send and request lives to and from your Facebook friends, however once you've done this, you won't be able to send or receive lives again for 24 hours.
Your Facebook friends will still be there, but you won't see them until you're able send lives again, and any friends that have sent a life to someone else, will not show up to request from if they did this within 24 hours.
If you were sent a life by a Facebook friend, you wouldn't be able to request another one within 24 hours as well.
