If you would like to subscribe to the yearly VIP, you will need to first go and cancel your current monthly subscription. You will retain your VIP benefits until the end of the current pay cycle, and near the end of that pay cycle you should receive a reminder pop up that your VIP is about to expire. This menu will provide you the option of signing up for the monthly or yearly VIP.
