The Daily Bonus Jar will fill up to the maximum once every 24 hours. So, if you collect once per day, you will be able to collect your maximum number of Cherries all at once.
However, if you collect your Daily Bonus several times a day, you'll receive fewer Cherries at a time - though the total amount over 24 hours will be the same. If you wait 24 hours to collect, you should see that the Cherries have refilled to the maximum amount.
When you tap on your Cherry Jar at the bottom right of the Lobby screen, you'll see a pop-up Daily Bonus screen. The "Collect" button will show you how many Cherries are ready to collect (e.g. Collect "5/14" means you have 5 Cherries ready to collect). You can increase your maximum Daily Bonus by completing Puzzles and Special Collections!
