What is Bingo Friends?
Bingo Friends is our very own "friends list" feature that supports the ability to add friends from directly within the game. Players can now add friends to trade with without the need to have their accounts linked with Facebook.
How do I add friends?
From the player's profile, tap on "Send Friend Request". Once you send a request, the request will appear in the player's Gifts Inbox under the "Friends Request" tab for them to accept and add you. You can also see a list of suggested friends to add under "Friend Requests". Currently, only Club members and Facebook friends appear as a Bingo Friend suggestion.
How do I remove friends?
From your profile, go to your Friends list, select on the player you want to remove, then tap on the "Remove Friend" button from their profile.
Where can I view my list of Bingo Friends?
From your Profile, tap on the "Friends" tab to view your current list of friends. Note, this is separate from your Facebook friends so they won't appear in the list unless you have them added as a Bingo Friend, too.
To access your profile, from the Bingo Lobby, tap on your Facebook profile photo (silhouette for Guest players) located on the top-left corner of the screen.
How do I view a player's profile?
At the moment, you can only view profiles of players in the same Club or players you have added through Facebook. They will appear as a suggested friend under "Friend Requests" in the Gifts Inbox screen. Tap on their photo or name to view their Profile.
What is the max number of Bingo Fiends I can have at a time?
There is a Bingo Friends limit of 100.
Can I search for a specific player to add?
At this time, it is not possible to search for a specific player to send a friend request to.
I sent a friend request to a player but they aren't receiving it. Why?
First, make sure that they have the Bingo Friends test feature enabled on their account. As long as they can see the new "Friend Request" tab in their Gift Inbox, they are in the test. Next, check to make sure that you do not have them blocked.
I accidentally blocked a player from sending me friend requests. How do I unblock them?
From the player's profile, tap on "Unblock Friend Requests".
Block Friend Request prevents that player from sending you a friend request. This does not block them from requesting and sending tradable items if you're in the same Club.
Why is the "Add Friend" button grayed out next to someone's name?
This indicates that you've already sent them a friend request before and it's still pending. The player has not accepted nor rejected the request yet.
Will Bingo Friends be replacing the friends we have added through Facebook?
Nope! Bingo Friends is an extension that enables players (especially Guest players) to add more friends in the game without having to have their accounts linked with Facebook.
If I add a Club member as a Bingo Friend but then I leave the Club, will we still be able to send each other gifts as friends?
Yes! As long as you still have each other as Bingo Friends, you can continue to send gifts and trade items.
