Quests are a great way to earn resources. Find them by clicking on the compass on the bottom left of your island. Once you reached level 7 in your viking profile, you can access your Quests.

You can also do repeatable Quests on the exploration map. Each region will have new quests which allow you to get as many eggs as you need.
