Battling Alphas will grant you Alpha Points. Collect enough points to raise your Clan to the top.

How many points one Viking earns during a battle is determined by the Alpha's difficulty and how many tries it took a Viking to defeat the Alpha.

Beware, Alpha Points will decay over time if you do not help your Clan to fight an Alpha.
